Just a heads up for anyone who posts media and especially for those who want to be nice to @nostr.build servers:
This video started as 184 MB, but I did the quick conversion I always do for web media, and the mp4 version was 3.9 MB.
That’s a 97.9% reduction in size!
Handbrake is a free tool that I use constantly, and you can use ffmpeg CLI if that works better for you (or you want to build an auto-tool with Ai to do it with a simple drag and drop function). But you can convert video to vastly more efficient formats without even being able to see the difference in quality, *especially* if you did a screen capture.
Many don’t realize how important that step is, so it’s good to remind people who don’t think about it.

Previously I have launched 4 successful campaigns on another well-known crowdfunding platform (you can imagine the name), and yesterday I found @Geyser Geyser!!!! But what a marvel!
I am seriously considering to take advantage of some contacts and manufacturers I know to launch a very special deck of Poker cards, numbered edition and limited to 500 units.

During Nostrville @Plebchain Radio show we did at Bitcoin Park last November each of us were asked what we were most looking forward to for Nostr in the next year.
At the time I called in Client Meshing because that’s the best way I could describe it.
But want I meant was exactly what Nostur is implementing. Clients within clients meshing together. The cohesion that Nostr was built for.

This is where things get very interesting by integrating “the other stuff” into Nostr.

When it says ‘Creators Page’ on top, it is shared to your external Creators page and others can see it.
Unfortunately we don’t have a way to monetize your media, only the ‘tips’ in your Creators page.. You would have to use your link and a paywall service of some kind..

Done with our first sale ever! We sold 15 accounts (711k sats), this is about a typical month’s revenue, in one day, which is great! It put us in the green for the month.
Fishcake was hoping for 50 sales, I didn’t think we would sale more than 5, we were both way off 😃
It also helped us find a bug where recent new account holders were not getting their profile pic, nym and wallet (kind 1 data) imported. Should work better now, way better experience for the user!

I was reading some notes and tweets about ‘compromised’ seeds, someone didn’t role the dice enough, others questioning the ‘random’ generator, etc. and gets me thinking. If your address has been good for years, you should be OK right? Never really a need to move coins to another address?
