I grasped it in my hand. Carried it around.

→ Companies use it to move funds between offices, settle cross-border #payments and maintain liquidity outside fragile #financial systems.
→ Energy-abundant manufacturers are turning to Bitcoin: mining it with surplus power or holding it on their balance sheets as a hedge.

Everyone’s cheering for nation-state adoption.
𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿.
When Bitcoin becomes a reserve asset, three things happen fast:
→ More legitimacy
→ Institutional demand
→ Massive on-ramping of capital
But here’s the part most don’t talk about ↓
With reserve asset status comes regulation.
Serious regulation.
The kind that makes self-custody harder.
You’ll hear the usual lines:
“National #security
“Systemic risk controls.”
“Anti-money laundering.”
And before you know it:
→ Self-custody is “dangerous”
→ Custodial KYC becomes “best practice”
→ Ownership shifts from individuals to institutions
That’s the trade-off.

🚨NEW: Trump says in the next two weeks the United States will be selling a "Gold Card". A $5M purchasable green card that will allow you to work in this country and have a route to citizenship.
This would be replacing the EB-5 program. Gold Card recipients would be vetted. Instead of green card lotteries they want to help eliminate the deficit by letting people buy their way in. This attracts money, job creators, high level talent, and companies will have to spend money who want to invest in high level global talent.
There wont be any tax on income outside of the United States and they'll pay full tax on income in the United States.

Just discovered @Dug on #nostr I check this first morning post of his. And it triggers my mind on how #bitcoin is a force of Extropy. Here is why:
(TLDR: Extropy is the opposite of decay. While entropy means things naturally break down over time {ike rust on metal or a crumbling empire} extropy is about growth, innovation, and pushing forward. It’s the force that builds instead of destroys. And Bitcoin is a perfect example of it.)
