I started with the foundation of “absolute scarcity now exists and isn’t going away”, then everything fell into place easily after that.

You can spend 20 years studying the intricacies of a single discipline, get a doctorate and every accolade there is, but have built it all on an incorrect premise.

While someone else can be interested only in discovering the truth of the premise, and "know more" than you after a few youtube videos.

If you start on the wrong foundation and never reassess, all the study or degrees in the world won't save you from being wrong.

This picture portrays Michael Saylor and Peter Schiff as opposites, but that’s not true.

They both view Bitcoin as purely an investment for price gain. But they are BOTH missing out on the entire parallel circular economy. Which is much closer to “comfortable lies”, and the legacy media’s goal.

It’s awfully convenient that, for someone like Douglas Murray, every time Hitler, Goebbels, etc said something that made the Nazis look good and the allies look bad, they were lying. Then every time Hitler, Goebbels, etc said something that made the Nazis look bad and the allies look good, they were telling the truth.

Funny that you get to cast someone as a pathological liar…except when what they said reinforces the load-bearing myths that you built your entire reality on top of.

My favorite episode in months. They break down (refute line by line) an article by Tyler Cowen on how the experts actually did better than people think on Covid.

“The middle ground scramble” is important to be aware of. They’ll roll out new experts who chastise both the old experts and the podcasters. In doing so, they’ll gain enough credibility from the masses to become the new gatekeepers.

I reached a point of acceptance over why Saylor will never say that Bitcoin is (or will become) a medium of exchange (or as he says, currency) AND that it will replace the dollar and government bonds. It’s because he doesn’t want to poke the Beast.

He’s completely wrong on those two counts, but I get why he either lies intentionally or deludes himself into thinking incorrectly.

Paying people to dig holes and fill them back up increases GDP, as it is currently measured, even though that activity has no value.

Similarly, hiring an extreme number of regulators to vex entrepreneurs nominally increases GDP in the short term, even though it reduces output in the long term.

The flaw of Keynesianism is to see all government spending as “stimulus” even when it’s value destroying.

The “diminishing returns” narrative seems overvalued. It used to be that only Bitcoiners talked about it, relative to the epic first halving epoch run-up that OGs got, but now that absolutely everyone is aware of Bitcoin and its likely permanent existence, I now see even people with investable capital (and no coin) buying into DR.

They saw the 3 halving cycles and sat on the sidelines. Now, they’re comfortable with their noncoinery because DR seems “confirmed”. “I missed it, oh well. I’ll stick with a 401k and a house if I can afford it.”

Bitcoin likes to inflict maximum possible pain for noncoinery. Punishing millions of noncoiners in the investor class seems like the most likely path to maximum pain.

Two X-factors that people forget or aren’t aware of are:

1. Liquidity begets liquidity
2. Veblen Good effect

It’s not new, communist central planners have been saying something like this for at least the last century. They always think that with *x new technology buzzword* like big data, regression analysis, or even Microsoft Excel, that they will have the computing power to overcome Mises’ Economic Calculation problem. The reason why it’ll never work, despite how much computing power they have, is that without property, there’s no cost. No cost, no economic calculation. No calculation, no production. You can see @Saifedean Ammous explain it even better here from 23:28-25:00, then the AI part from 31:40-35:45 Everything in between is great too.

It is because you have the world's reserve currency and you export inflation to the rest of the world, you finance yourselves at the expense of the rest of the countries, imposing your currency through the coercive force of your gigantic army.

Over the past few weeks I have proven to myself the possibility and feasibility of creating a 'wallet' that exists independently of an app, device, or platform. This will drive the regulators crazy because their strategy is to lean of the platform providers, who in turn, lean on the app providers.

The 'wallet' uses redundant relays and blinded mints, so there is no way to track or shut down at any point of control.

Here's what I suspect is happening when cloudflare puts up a 5- to 7-second delay with a spin screen and a simple captcha to "verify you are human":

A device fingerprint is being created.

The captcha itself is superfluous - a pretense that some human interaction is needed. But none is.

So there's a new fingerprint, but to be any use it must be compared to something - some collection of previous fingerprints or known attributes or something. So there's a database somewhere. And there must be a comparative analysis - so there's an algo running to determine next action.

I'm 99% sure of the above. What I don't know is:
- what is happening to the newly-created fingerprint? Is it deleted (I doubt it)? Is it being added to a database somewhere?
- If added to a database, who

Every time they talk about “hate speech” this is what I see. We’re at Michael Scott level of policy ideas now.

This is what the Yuppie Elite think Bitcoiners want. They think that stocks, bonds, and houses being demonetized is the end of the world. Well…it will be for them and their firms, but everybody else will be fine.

“Love the spirit and ethos of Bitcoin, hope that it takes off. But it is ironic that Jamie Dimon is doing more to push back on corrupt financial censorship + attacks on financial freedom and so many people are trying to funnel people away, while not admitting that every app on Bitcoin is censorable.

If any app gains popularity (think hundreds of millions of people), then it will be censored. And then a founder has a decision to make. And when one caves...what is needed is bankers with power to push back. Not a protocol.”

I think the only person who can help Parker now is Jeff Booth in a private, 1:1 conversation.

The people who think the vaxx was “safe and effective” will believe that FDIC is “safe and effective”.

“Well if that were true I would’ve heard about it in the NYT. They didn’t teach that at Yale or Wharton. You’re over exaggerating anyway, who cares what Marx said.”

2. What the fuck is that?
3. What the fuck?
4. The fuck?
5. Fuck...
6. All in.
