I've been busy working on the @npub1dvmcp stuff, focusing on the spec and packages, and I forgot to show some of the servers I'm already running that are free and open to everyone, these are like apps you can plug into your llm or agents to give them new capabilities. Of course, there's no guarantee of uptime, but they've been running well for a few weeks now with no noticeable downtime. I wanted to put together some useful tools that the majority of people might find useful.

Chinese manufacturers explaining how Americans can buy luxury goods from them directly. Others are offering services to help Americans shop in China for furniture and even (portable) homes. There is no beating the prices they're offering even with the tariffs.
Tons of videos like this too. What a way to onboard.
One day we'll make a similar video for Nostr adoption 😂 I believe in us.

Freedom tech has A LOT to offer to the AI world, problems that people coming from that lens don't even know will be solved with shortcuts that will be incredibly difficult to solve (identity, payment, trust, curation, etc)
It's on us to bring that perspective into that world.
And by _bring_, I mean "build and show" what freedom tech enables AIs to do.

New features are now available for the Discovery Package! The dvmcp-discovery package has been updated to provide a more intuitive way to discover and use MCP tools on Nostr. You can now seamlessly integrate these tools with your LLMs, running them locally while they execute remotely by another nostrish.
This update introduces a reworked configuration system, making it easier to connect to tools with flexible and user-friendly methods. Additionally, the new interactive mode allows you to use natural language to discover and integrate tools as if you were in a toy shop, picking out exactly what you need for your workflows.
We hope the ecosystem will continue to grow with active tools, we are also working on enabling machine-to-machine payments to support operators and make everything more reliable. This is an exciting step forward for the project, which is still in its early stages

what are your thoughts on zaps4follows? my take is that nostr gives us the freedom to do whatever we want. i wouldn't do it. i think it's spammy and scammy. however, i also understand with very little algorithmic help, it's hard for new npubs to gain traction. if someone wants to offer the hardest money we have for some follows and engagement, i say that proof of work, the freedom to communicate, and the free market are working as intended. on the other side of the argument, if you don't like it, you're also free to complain. nostr gives us that freedom too.

We held a focus group with friends and family last night on some new marketing videos explaining the idea of @nextblock and the app’s features.
This group barely understood Bitcoin let alone Nostr.
Some of their initial questions:
“How could social media even work without algorithm?”
“Who decides what I see?”
“How can I find new accounts?”
“What if I decide I don’t want to see something and then “it” never shows me that again?”
“How it could be fun without an algorithm deciding what shows?”
Fortunately, the focus group session ended with someone asking…
“So WE are the algorithm?”
To which @Ian & I enthusiastically responded: YES!

If you are new and don't know what a #Zapathon is, let me explain. Back in the early old good Ol' days we used to do something twice a week called Zapathon, it took place ever Wednesday and Thursday at 5pm est. What we would do is post memes, photos, videos ect with #Zapathon and we would zap each other like crazy to Zapathon posts, the purpose of this was to test infrastructure and reliably of Wallets and Nostr clients, but it was also just so much fun! It's an activity the whole community could engage in. Overtime it has kinda died down and went away, but myself and some others want to bring it back! So we will be having one this evening at 5pm est and we hope to see you all there! All you have to do is at that time post memes or photos or whatever

Just had a very simple exchange with my plumber about #Bitcoin that seemed to resonate with him…
He asked what made it valuable and why would it go up in price.
I said, if you could know that the set of rules for the economy were perfectly fair, where everyone had to put in value to get it out and nobody could cheat, would that be worth something to you?
Him: hell yeah.
Me: well we clearly don’t have that when someone can print trillions of dollars and just consume a horrific amount of capital without doing anything at all, right? Causing the price of everything to double, just like the PVC price we were just talking about.

I recently learned that this is Saylor’s first halving, just like me. (Correct me if I’m wrong!)
The reason he has a large platform & speaks on #Bitcoin to the media is because he already had wealth and access to debt to buy a lot of Bitcoin.
Unlike other now wealthy & loud bitcoiners who stacked early, Saylor hasn’t “earned” his platform in Bitcoin world in the same way.
Like him or not, that’s the reality of this situation. Right? Sure he was already in the technology space, there is that… but does everything he says need to be debated by this community?
How many other millionaires/billionaires who are learning about bitcoin just now will lead our global discussions on bitcoin adoption and technology? How much of our attention do they *automatically*
