I have a podcast I started with my husband that tries to simply explain everything (to women) so you can get started and not confused by the misinformation out there.

we are 3 years in so our more recent content may not help you but the first 10 are a great way to get started.

I was a software engineer for 20 years and I quit/retired last May at 42. The biggest revelation I've had since is that you don't realize how much 40hours a week really is.
Now I have so much time to work on things that I actually want to do. We have our podcast, @The Flirting With Bitcoin Podcast, and now we're starting a business, @nextblock, all while raising our toddler.

Figured my @The Flirting With Bitcoin Podcast gang would appreciate that update.
He said the IMF is trying to say they're winning but they just gave EL Salvador billions of dollars for nothing. It wasn't really mandatory for businesses already and Bitcoiners aren't paying taxes. And if they want to there isn't a penalty to convert to dollars to pay the taxes.

Today was one of those days were I am too bullish about #nostr to even think straight. I've decided that #nostr is actually more important than #bitcoin when it comes to fixing the world. We the #plebs have spent generations leaving under the filter or algorithm is one group or another. Think about what is the Catholic church if not an algorithm that decided what was the truth and what wasn't.
We need nostr because we need to be able to tell the truth directly to one another regardless of it hurts your feelings.
For example I recently discovered a YouTube channel called "The Research Guy". The just of his channel is that most "black" people in America are actually native Americans from tribes that have been scrubbed from the public consciousness. When I first watched a couple of his

So while we been taking the summer off from the pod, I've been doing a lot of thinking about what is the next evolution of conversation for us to discuss. And lately I've been drawn to nostr. I'm gonna riff some ideas off before while they are still fresh in my head.
#1 Nostr hardware
I think companies like umbrel and start 9 are fundamentally flawed. They are selling specialized hardware to run docker images of servers. I think they should be selling specialized hardware to run a suite of Nostr only applications. I shouldn't have to docker compose my applications. They should run from any compatible nostr relay I point my client to. And should I have to lose years of data because some company went out of business. Anyone should be able to pick up where'd the failed business left
So while we been taking the summer off from the pod, I've been doing a lot of thinking about what is the next evolution of conversation for us to discuss. And lately I've been drawn to nostr. I'm gonna riff some ideas off before while they are still fresh in my head.
#1 Nostr hardware
I think companies like umbrel and start 9 are fundamentally flawed. They are selling specialized hardware to run docker images of servers. I think they should be selling specialized hardware to run a suite of Nostr only applications. I shouldn't have to docker compose my applications. They should run from any compatible nostr relay I point my client to. And should I have to lose years of data because some company went out of business. Anyone should be able to pick up where'd the failed business left
