After being in Madeira for #BitcoinAtlantis and meeting the #SovEng SEC-01 crew, I am even more bullish on #bitcoin #nostr #Lightning The reason? By its very architecture you are contributing to the whole of the network whether you are collaborating and competing. It was amazing to see how the folks from #Damus and #Primal celebrating each others' strengths and recognizing the network can accommodate everyone, enabling diversity but without division.

I certainly got what I came for - a renewed sense of purpose, mission and optimism for the future. I will be back on the ground in #Maderia in May/June for #SEC02 So grateful for the opportunity and privilege to work with the best free people in the world!

As Sovereign Engineering comes to a close, I'd like to take some time to reflect on the past few months. It feels like it was yesterday when I was sitting in a Panera Bread in NYC listening to a Nostrovia episode when these guys @PABLOF7z and @Gigi mentioned a crazy idea to bring a bunch of hackers to an island in the middle of the Atlantic to work on Nostr stuff for two months. At this point I had only recently heard about Nostr, in fact, I was still debating between building on Farcaster vs Nostr 😅. By the end of that podcast I was hooked, I knew I had to find a way to get myself into the Cohort and start contributing to the future of the web. So I started working on a client, learning all about the intricacies of the protocol as I did. A constant flow

Yesterday I had the privilege of witnessing the demos of the first @npub1s0ven cohort here in Madeira. Mind completely blown. Everyone should check out these projects. People have no idea how good Nostr is going to get.
@Gigi and @PABLOF7z are legends for instigating this. Things are going to get insane.

I've been in Madeira for the past two months, and what can I say. It's been a wild time here!
@npub1s0ven and finishing it with the Atlantis conference brought some of the best conversations and ideas that can't be compared. The amount of care, kindness, and intelligence people have in this space is unmatched, and it requires in-person interactions for that to fully come out. Without them, you can't have the open and honest conversations necessary to grow this space.

We came in as the "North Star" for the SEC, but honestly, we are babies in all of this, and we knew we would get an immense amount of value and learning. Huge credit to @PABLOF7z, @Gigi, Martin, and everyone else. I've learned so much about myself, my team, and ideas around Mutiny in general. It may take another month or so to wrap up some of
