At one point we need to invite Dr. Jack Cruise.
We are going to get many projects done with tools like #kanbanstr by @Vivek & @SatShoot.
Our systems are broken.
FreedomTech will fix them!

1. Like any Kanban card you see on the wild? You can now make it yours by cloning it into any board you maintain or own 😉
Thanks to @Kamal for building this feature 🚀
2. Do you want to track *some other* board's card on your board, without manually updating the status when the owner changes their own card's status?
You can do that by using the 'Track this card in another board' menu item.
For example, if you want to track some other team's specific card on your team's board, just so you could keep an eye on it.
A tracker card will have a little tracker symbol on the right like the one below 👇

If you onboard a newbie to nostr, make sure to help them get the nsec into a password manager or similar.
Phones will be lost. Apps deleted. They don't know what they do, and with this (imperfect) backup in place they won't have to start from scratch.

1. After looking at the review comments on the NIP, i changed the data structures of Kanban boards and cards. This new data format allows easy multi-user capabilities on #kanbanstr boards.
Have you already created a board and are wondering if you have to re-create them due to this data model change? Worry not!
Kanbanstr has a migration wizard that will be visible only to the creator of the board which has older format data. Others will see the board normally.
Once you click the migrate button, all your cards in the board will be migrated in a minute or so. Expect a lot of popups if you sign using browser extensions. (Cc: @Derek Ross @Vitor Pamplona )
2. Now you can add maintainers to the board you created by clicking on the 'Edit board' button.

I've been dealing with Bitcoin since pre-2013, and I've gotta say I've never seen it feel as powerful as it does on Nostr. The instant, effectively-free transactions that spring from having so many people on Lightning Addresses is like arriving on a different planet.
Most people's experience with Bitcoin payments -- if they even have it -- is a 30-60 minute wait for mining + two-plus block confirmations, and a fee that made it feel dumb to send less than $20. Most people don't want that. They don't need that. They will never care about that. Some do -- I did -- but it's a permanent minority. This is what makes lightning-fast settlements a big deal.
When normal people and businesses realize that global money transfers can be borderless, instant, free, and only take like two clicks, I think things are going to get very interesting.

Zapping a card is now possible enabling #value4value
Imagine all the use cases:
1. Zap the card when someone finishes a work. Literally moving from paper/fiat invoices to Lightning invoices. Gig economy, yaay!
2. Influence a developer to prioritize a backlog item by zapping on the card.
3. Ask the users to zap the card, so that the incentive can go directly to the doer of the work.
4. Fundraise for a particular business initiative using Kanban card pitches
5. Anything else?
Now, there MAY be a few bugs, please report them as soon as you encounter them.
For now, support is for WebLn and NWC.

when searching for a user on nostr, maybe clients could filter out or deprioritize npubs that have invalid nostr addresses.
i.e. searching for 'Derek Ross' returns dozens and dozens of fake Derek Ross profiles. they all have invalid nostr addresses except one.
sure, those scammers could setup a domain and register a nostr address that's valid i.e. derekross@nostrpplebs.com (notice the extra 'p', but this requires more work and most scammers are low effort scammers.

Just published my first CIP — which stands for "Coracle's Impish Precautions" over on Wikifreedia: https://wikifreedia.xyz/cip-01/97c70a44366a6535c1
If it wasn't clear, this is a NIP for custom feeds. I know @Vitor Pamplona and @jb55 are working on this kind of thing with different approaches. I think it would be swell if we could achieve interoperability with this. Happy to take feedback for any devs that want to chime in.
In Coracle, you can already create your own feeds, as well as search and view feeds other people have created. Coming soon will be list and feed bookmarking, which will make things even awesomer.

People will probably fall into 2 camps here:
1. Zaps are great, and are the signal / what makes nostr work with v4v
2. Payments and social may send mixed signals, ego stroking etc... so payments should not be emphasized.
I see that Primal has positioned itself as a social bitcoin wallet vs. a nostr client with a bitcoin wallet. So, I think from that angle, it makes sense to push hard ton zaps / seamless wallet integration etc. It's more about highlightning bitcoin than nostr, though both play well together.
Personally, I got one foot in each camp. I feel like if you position your client as bitcoin-centric, then by all means, lean into it. But if you wish to lean into the nostr aspects and not care as much about payments, by all means don't emphasize payments.

One of the core tenants of nostr is censorship-resistance.
Is what most of us here rallied around.
If we all use blastr, if we all just use the Damus relay or any of the central hubs, then broken clients will *feel* like they are not broken.
But they are:
if a person is censored by the main relays, broken clients will simply not show you that person any longer.
The “small relay” idea is not against blastr, is not against Damus relay or any central relay hub.
Is to highlight an issue that has been ignored or deprioritized by the vast majority of clients.
We can do better but only if enough people care.
Make nostr decentralized again.

Since we have so many new Nostriches hatching over in #introductions I felt it was time to share a list of Lightning wallets that support Zaps to help them with the on-boarding process.
First what are Zaps? Simply put, they are a value for value exchange or a way for you to send and receive money for your content.

- Made the desktop site more consistent.
- Better Fonts
- Categories and sidebar looks way cooler.
- Upload posts now preview before uploading.

Example: If a user browses zapddit in Thai and upzaps or downzaps a note, @siamstr.com will receive 0.5% by default as he translated #zapddit to Thai.
Similarly, all other languages are configured to send zap splits to the respective translators.

Another milestone in #V4V model for sustainable development of @zapddit 🚀
Now, translators will get a % of the zaps sent using zapddit, in addition to the developers. This percentage can be disabled/changed from preferences.
Example: If a user browses zapddit in Thai and upzaps or downzaps a note, @siamstr.com will receive 0.5% by default as he translated #zapddit to Thai.
Similarly, all other languages are configured to send zap splits to the respective translators.
