This is a great set of checklists to work with. With my #nostr #safebox project, I have proven to myself that the differentiators are legit and feasible (checklist #2 I am now focusing on checklist #1 with the @nosfabrica #MedNostr community.
It’s so cool to discover requirements, knowing how to implement with checklist #2 and showing a prototype mere hours after.

solve real problems for people within these use cases:
1. human and agent interaction and transaction
2. private and public micro-communities
3. creator-friendly distribution
while maximizing nostr’s differentiators:
1. high-agency identity
2. built-in micropayments
3. highly-connected app ecosystem
which will increase to abundance:
1. the amount of information
2. the quality of information organization
3. the number of autonomous agents on the network
which allows us to state:
“nostr is where people and their agents learn and get stuff done.”

For my project #nostr #safebox I am developing an authentication protocol which I am calling #nauth The reason I developed this new protocol is so that either party, name initiator and recipient can initiate the protocol. I wanted to address a situation where only one party might have the ability to scan a QR code, either the patient or the physician. The QR code is merely an out-of-band initiation method, it could be a text or whatever. So here goes,
1. Initiator prepares and sends a #nauth request consisting of:
a. Initiator npub
b. nonce
c. auth kind
d. auth relays
e. transmittal kind
f. transmittal relays
2. Recipient receives #nauth request (usually by scanning a QR code). The recipient inspects the #nauth request and returns another #nauth request as a NIP-59 gift wrapped message using the specified auth kind and

Today, on the @nosfabrica call, I successfully demonstrated the use case of what I call “Patient Zero to Nostr Hero”. It was a health consultation over a Zoom call where the patient was on-boarded to a new wallet, used that wallet to authenticate over zoom, consultation completed and resulting records securely transmitted to that newly created wallet controlled by that new patient.
In this demonstration, #nostr #safebox was completely invisible, but pivotal in facilitating the secure transfer of records.
This is the way healthcare should be. Personal, private and secure.

I started 2024 with the aim to move more of my time into Bitcoin. As an optometrist and practice owner of over 17 years @Alan Bryden I had already integrated bitcoin payments into my small business and onto the company balance sheet. I spoke at my first Bitcoin conference in Dublin and co-founded a Bitcoin education company @Emerge21. Linked up with some awesome individuals @nosfabrica & excited to develop more within the decentralised healthcare space. More of this transition in 2025 - out of the Fait system & into #bitcoin in moving my business structure & income generation online, built on Bitcoin ⚡️🫡
