Last weekend, my car told me that my keyfob battery needed to be replaced. I had replacement batteries that were some crappy brand that didn't work, so I just changed keyfobs. The next day, my car told me that THAT keyfob's battery ALSO needed to be replaced. Now I'm annoyed and tell @Derek Ross that I'm ordering batteries and changing ALL keyfob batteries.

Derek won't humor me and tell me if these taste terrible 😞😂😞😂

@Derek Ross and I took the kids to watch the sunset last night (they were SUPER enthused teenagers 😂).

We didn't get to see the sunset because of the position in the sky & trees, but we did get to be in the middle of a marriage proposal 😂

Then this other guy that was at the overlook to watch the sunset with his 2 little girls started to talk to us (he was a strange, strange bird)... He decided to play some music for Derek that "described him" - the music was terrible, I felt so bad for the couple that was celebrating their engagement for having to listen to it.

Today was a complete shit show.
I get my hair done twice a year - appointment was for 5pm tonight.

I get off work at 4, it's POURING. My car doesn't start. I try a few more times before calling @Derek Ross. He comes to my rescue. We get my car jumped and get it home. I get to my hair appointment just in time.

Hair takes 2 1/2 hours (I get it done so infrequently that I honestly forget how long it takes).

We then take my car to Auto Zone - they close in an hour and are not capable of changing the battery.

It's now nearly 9pm. I message my mechanic and tell him I'm being presumptuous, but we're leaving my car in the parking lot so he can look at the battery. My mechanic is awesome and going

Adulthood...

Deciding that maybe it's time to get a new new carpet cleaner because the one that you've had has been broken (but mostly functional) for about 6 years. So, you shop around and find one that looks okay.

Before ordering said carpet cleaner you decide to take apart your vacuum cleaner (because it's not doing such a great job anymore) to clean all the crevices... And realize that the hose is cracked.

I guess my carpet cleaner is on the back burner for a little while while I shop for a new vacuum cleaner 😭

Our son has no fear and jumped into a pool at the waterfall, he was sad that we wouldn't let him do the waterfall slide...
