So today I called @npub1zuuaj and we were talking about collaboratively editing documents on nostr; I had this very left-side of the curve idea on how to do this, so after kids' bedtime I implemented it to see what it would feel like.

How it works:

A user can invite other users to edit a document (i.e. a long-form, or any other kind of document)
* The invitees can be added/removed at will by the owner of the document.
* The users send ephemeral events while live editing and can hit "save" to propose a new version of the document.
* Everybody sees what the others are doing in real time
* The document's owner chooses which version to make "official".
* Documents can be forked so any of

I'm thrilled to announce the launch of #0xchat v1.2.5 beta! Here's what's new:
1.Introduction of the Cashu wallet feature.
2.Fixed bugs and some crashes reported by users.
-Issue with Android unable to open link using the default browser.
-Problem with Relay: added '/' and cannot request
-Issue with Amber login: sats payment options do not appear.
-No FaceID prompt when copying private key.
-Messages sent by oneself are not received after uninstalling and reinstalling.
-Messages with '@' in chat are showing loading.
-Auto-login issue after log out.

Please note, the wallet feature is still in its beta phase. We strongly recommend using small amount of sats for testing. Additionally, we've made the cashu-dart repository open source:

Nostr Report turned one today! Exactly one year ago we started the Nostr Report with one goal in mind—To be the human algorithm that brings the best news and updates to the users of Nostr. We set out to capture the many changes and developments rapidly occurring on this new censorship-resistant protocol. The protocol was changing daily, with new features such as zaps, communities, and more being added and standardized in new NIPs. New apps, relays, and “other stuff” projects were also emerging at a rapid pace. We saw influential people like Ed Snowden joining, conferences and meetups being planned, and yet there were no algorithms to help capture and share all of this. That’s where we set out to make a difference.

Thanks for bringing privacy to the forefront. Few read the respective nostr github project documentation on privacy. Your method of exposing privacy on base nostr protocol has been effective.

Despite this, the discourse is more civil than that of twtr. Maybe it’s a function of nostr’s tiny size, and lack of algos.

@rabble and nos social are as far as I’m aware thinking and developing most on moderation tools.

I don’t know how far they’ve gotten - that said one of the benefits of nostr is you don’t have a mandatory moderation curator in a WEF stooge. You can have a feature where you choose your own moderator - for instance you can choose Jack.

@Martti Malmi implemented web of trust network hops filter more than half a year ago on Iris messenger.

#nostrdesign I need some help again. I'm trying to overhaul the whole relay system in noStrudel to add better support for inbox / outbox relays and relay sets.
I'm running into a few UX issues that I don't know how to fix and I need some ideas.

My goal is to make the users inbox / outbox relays completely separate from the apps relays and call them "Mailboxes"
So going forward the app will store its current relays in local storage instead of nip-65. this will allow the user to change relays on the fly while keeping the inbox / outbox relays the same.

The part I'm stuck on is I cant figure out what the UX should be around managing the users "mailboxes"
