I don't mean to alarm anybody but another solo block was just found, #888989 This one is very special though as it is the first block mined on Public Pool! The miner was self hosting a Public Pool instance on their Umbrel. This is the second solo block this week after the recent self-hosted Futurebit Apollo block find at height 888737.

The cannabis is absolutely thriving in the rabbit colony cannabis garden
This year I only used fertility from within the rabbit colony to grow the cannabis. In the past, I've applied multiple feedings of composted horse manure processed by our chickens to grow the plants.
While the only time I water the plants in general is for a day or two after transplanting, the weather has been excellent this year for growing cannabis. Rain every few days with very mild heat waves.
Some of the plants are growing nearly as well as the season which I tried really hard to grow massive plants. Except this year, I've hardly tried at all. I attribute the success once again to the weather as well as a few years of building the soil in the garden thanks to the rabbits. The tallest plant, White

1) APC 1500
Surge protection and battery backup for loss of power without downtime to the network & allowing for proper shutdown of hardware/software.
Plug all your hardware into this.
Screw your internet cable into the back and run an internet cable out.
2) Arris Surfboard SVB3202
This is just a modem, no wifi, no bullshit. Just a nice, but really stupid modem that is just a modem.
Stop using your ISP gateway.

I started using Nostr about a year and a half ago. NGL I struggled with it, I wanted it to be that Twitter replacement I was searching for but there were several roadblocks:
• getting content to load
• self-custodial Lightning is a pita
• little to no interaction
• getting a mix of content beyond just Bitcoin
Therefore, I found myself stuck choosing between battling an algorithm or a miserable UX for social media. But that changed when I saw this dude's posts about making a few simple adjustments and that was exactly the unlock I was looking for.
In the last 24-hours I went from totally frustrated with Nostr to operating my own public relay, running a local private relay on mobile, & getting content to load quickly on my 3 favorite clients - first bullet point ✅.
