You can just get your hands dirty, become experienced, an expert. You can become more experienced, knowledgeable, capable than most all of the biggest influencers, talking heads, investors, and suits. You can become the adult in the room.
I feel like more people need to realize this lol

I definitely will add NWC soon for instant zaps. I want to think about how to best do persistent identities for chats to write to nostr relays (currently anon zap is only scenario where we write rather than read)
This will take:
- better anon keypair persistence and handling (for chat sessions)
- nip46 support (pass a chat your connect string eek)
- FROSTR support (cause I don’t wanna give an LLM my whole ass private key / signer)

What can we do to cross that final barrier of having the invoice automatically load into the nwc wallet and have the LLM send the money along?
I also found these repos:
https://github.com/getalby/nwc-mcp-server
https://github.com/getAlby/lightning-tools-mcp-server
https://github.com/AbdelStark/nostr-mcp
I think you are really close to delivering some great functionality to this MCP server... Some other functionalities that I think would open up a ton of creative use cases would be:
1) Follow a group of users that already follow an account
2) Zap one or a group of users
3) DM one or a group of users
4) Detect specific engagement types on a specific nostr note
5) Keyword search a bunch of nostr notes and zap them accordingly
6) Publish data to nostr in the form of

Yeah loading in (unlocking) a share in igloo is basically taking it from being cold to hot so I try to make it pretty explicit in the UI but I can see how it’s a tad confusing

So, here is my contribution:
First, let's call S our secret. S is a number or can be represented as such.
We choose a random line that pass through the point (0,S). The lines with this property are the following:
y = a * x + S (where a is a coefficient)
So we choose a at random, and we have generated a line that pass through our secret S. If you know the line, you know the secret by simply substituting x = 0 into the equation.
Now, we want to split this knowledge into 3 pieces. The way to do it is to choose 3 more points on the line, different from

Rotating keys with FROSTR is MANUAL
Shares in a FROSTR keyset are interconnected so a rotation is either:
- DESTROYING the entire old keyset (and creating a new one)
OR
- DESTROYING threshold of shares in the old keyset effectively ORPHANING any lost or compromised shares from that keyset
There is no overly complicated rube goldberg multi-round rotation/revocation protocol
TLDR;

Instead of doing some Ghibli stuff I implemented a prototype of unlinkable ring signatures for Nostr.
It's using Monero style Spontaneous Anonymous Group signatures (SAG).
What does it enable ?
Ring signatures allow multiple members of a group to sign a message without revealing which member actually signed it.
I explored this after chatting with @Leo Wandersleb who wants to use this concept for WalletScrutiny. Basically his idea would be to let users write reviews as accredited wallet developers. Because of the competition between wallets it's better to not disclose who posted a review.
It would be sufficient to know that it was posted from someone belonging to a group of accredited developers.
Checkout the demo and repo in the links below.

This combo will make dave much more powerful than grok when it comes to an agent that can assist with finding stuff on social networks.
But dave is not limited to the social protocol, it will have access to all kinds of note types and outbox model.
What if we got it to crawl nostr relays looking for interesting content? So many possibilities.

Currently the tools in this MCP only read and query from relays but you could add some simple tools to create identity, create notes, and broadcast notes.
Each chat could create its own ephemeral identity (or you could pass nsec to the LLM in the prompt to have a consistent identity?)

Claude Desktop communicates with a local Nostr Model Context Protocol Server.
The MCP server looks for Nip89s of MCP enabled data vending machines and provides them as tools to the LLM. When Claude finds it adequate it calls a tool (asks the user if it's ok to use the tool) and the MCP server makes a NIP90 request to the DVM and gives back the answer to the LLM. The LLM builds us a nice report based on the real time data provided by a DVM living on Nostr (in the case I run it on the left screen).

These tools can save you time and trouble but keep your mind strong, the future we all want won’t be built with lazy prompts.

Thriller 🟠 drop
Car talks with Austin Kelsay @bitcoinplebdev from PlebDevs and Voltage
The conversation spans topics such as the influence of developer influencers, the Nostr, phased app development, and the "10,000-hour rule" for mastering anything. The discussion also touches on startup life, navigating trade-offs in development, and the power of narratives in technology adoption, covering consensus mechanisms, eCash, innovative projects like Mutiny, and philosophical reflections on humanity.

I’m thrilled to announce our new API enabling zaps in ANY app.
Zaps are a new, jaw dropping customer experience for the world and Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) is the first Other Stuff killer feature of Nostr.
Use our API to enable zaps in your app without needing to integrate Nostr or Bitcoin and without your users needing a Nostr account.
To show what’s possible, we built the first app - a Zap Bot that enables zapping in Discord. Want to add the bot to your server? Message us at https://www.makeprisms.com/zapbot
Learn more and get API access at https://www.makeprisms.com

We'll be taking a LNURL Pay express API we built in a previous workshop and updating it to be cleaner, more manageable, and scalable.
This is a must watch if you're working on your backend skills right now 🧑💻
