You can see the thickness even well after a month of daily use. GM everyone. Was pretty close to heading to the hospital with my wife late afternoon yesterday. Luckily we had the kids at the in-laws because my wife has been pretty sick.
It's okay she's hanging in there now, and doing better.
I didn't get everything done yesterday I wanted to, but that's okay. I got the main BTC related things taken care of. Today, going to read some scripture, and I'm determined to get this Bitaxe running instead of just taking up space.

Good morning everyone. It has been a rough September so far.
I turned in my resignation for the end of the month with the person I subcontract for, and things got petty fast. My wife has almost recovered from one issue and is now ill, and I still see my faint images of my poor pooch that died all around the house and yard, which is kind of nice to be honest.
It's going to be alright though. Fall is around the corner. I'm about to check out a new cold storage I picked up, get things ready for the fall garden, I have another job waiting for me that I was ready to roll with and can start Monday if they terminate me Mon before work. I have a lottery miner I picked up from @AVERAGE_GARY - OP_SECURETHEBAG that I haven't had time to hook up but

Update. After 13 very short and amazing years the pup has crossed over to the other side. The entire family is heart broken. The vet who did the house call said she was amazed that she had held on this long.
Today when it was just the dog and I she went to a part of the couch my kids had taken over years ago. She has not been able to stand up on her own without help for three days. She went there and I laid on the couch with her and she put her head over my shoulder and we just laid there for about 20 minutes. This meant a lot to me because this is something we used to do when I worked nights and when I would go in at 0400 to work come home and grab a nap before class. It's been years.

My dogs breathing has become more labored, shallow and rapid. She's exhausted. Vet will be here tomorrow not sure if she will make it that long.
I've been sitting/layingnext to her for the last hour and change just petting her so she knows she's not alone. this is absolutely heartbreaking. Go love on your dogs today.
She has aged so much in the past three days. I'm going to be devastated when she's gone, but I'll be glad she can rest.

GM wife is doing better. Having a bday party for the kids today for both of their birthdays. The pup is hanging in there and has been enjoying the extra attention. I slept on the floor with her last night like I used to when she was a puppy. She slept with her paws over my arms.
So far I've had a blessed 24hr with my wife's health and dog doing hanging in there. She not in pain which I'm extremely grateful for. I won't be surprised if she waits till we leave to her last nap. If so that's okay she's had an amazing life and we've given her the best life we can
