Agreed. The only advantage that Obtainium provides is nearly instant updates when new releases occur. Sometimes @Zapstore seems to take a bit.

It lags with Zapstore signed apps, but mostly the ones I care about l bleeding edge are signed by developers, so they're instantly. Such as Nostr apps.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Amethyst from different "stores" without almost any problems except for redoing my custom emojis, BUT... what happens if I reinstall Amber or Citrine??? Will I lose everything?
BTW- why is fdroid throwing URL resolution error messages on my screen notifications???
