Until i can sort my issues out with my DIY build @Start9 server i've swapped my lightning address to my @Fountain wallet.
It's nothing to do with Start9, its a great product. But i built it myself and occasionally it can't be seen by my home network. The thinking is interference from the power supply.

Had a beekeeping type of afternoon.
Made up a few frames to put in the new split colony i made earlier i the week.
As well as some sugar syrup ready to top up thier feed.

Any recommendations for a wearable healthy moitor ring thingy??
My partner has a terrible sleep pattern, refuses point blank to go to a sleep clnic to get appraised.
So it's her birthday coming up and i would like to get her a monitor so she at least has a baseline to work from.

Been out to the girls this morning 🌄
Went out to them on sunday and they had started making queen cells.
So went back out yesterday to do a vertical split. Long story slighly sorter, we take 3 or 4 frames with brood, eggs, stores and ideally a queen cell and then shake or smoke the bees off them and put them in an empty brood box.
That box is placed back on the original box on top of the Queen excluder. The nurse bees go up to look after the brood and you go back 8-12 hrs later and take the second box off and add a feeder bucket.
In theroy the new colony being queen less will raise a new queen.
We'll find out if it's worked in a month 👍🏻

Thats the 2 paths laid.
The one next to the greenhouse has 3 slabs left to finish but i did the main bit i wanted to get done. So moved on to the second path which was a lot easier to finish off.

Just spent 90 minutes trying to lossen up a front drivers side (front right, i'm English forgive me..) wheel.
Its sized on with corrosion and for reasons involving a stubborn partner id rather not have to drive it about to losen it.
Any suggestions to free it from the mechanics of nostr ?
I only have axle stands and limited access underneath....

Had a rude start to the day shifting a tonne of builders sand for a fellow gardeners carrot bed. It's what happens when your partner inherits a house with 6 bags of the stuff in the garage.
Some is going on a few of my clay soil beds to add some much needed drainage.
Not sure what else is on the docket for today, lets seen where it takes me 👍🏻

Restored from my last back up, the whole process from flashing to booting from USB to logging in took aboit half an hour.
Just waiting for a few apps to update and tomorrow night I'll have a proper tinker 👍🏻

Mitigating forest fires in the 21st century:
Forestry mulchers collect the debris
Mulch is put into wood gasifiers
Power is used to mine bitcoin in a shipping container with starlink
Heat from the miners is used to dry out the next batch of wood chips and heat a tiny jobsite trailer
Charcoal from the output of the wood gasifier is sent to a local farms and integrated into BSFL setups, used as animal bedding, etc
Biochar spread on pastures to increase water retention in the soil further mitigating drought and future fires
A single setup costs $250k-$1mill and would break even in less than 5 years, creates jobs and is green AF. But the govt doesn't actually want to fix this problem. #permaculture

I've Decided to attempt to purple and orange pill them as i patronise thier establishment, as well as seeing what i can do to help them utilise thier on farm resources to generate energy and generate ither revenue streams.
@Breez is probably the most "off the shelf" ready wallet for a buisness.
On farm consulting incoming 😁🤣

Very happy with how this soap turned out. Got to admit i got excited and popped it out off the mould a few hrs early.

GM nostr... day 5 of my week of and it was everything i dreamed it would be.. 😅
Had a bit of a digital holiday too, just pottering about the house and doing some thinking.. 🤔
And seeing as its the 1st of the month I've set myself a challenge. Three months ago i damaged my shoulder and took some time off from the gym. Ive lost a lot of muscle and gained some fat in that time.

Had a bit of a digital holiday too, just pottering about the house and doing some thinking.. 🤔
And seeing as its the 1st of the month I've set myself a challenge. Three months ago i damaged my shoulder and took some time off from the gym. Ive lost a lot of muscle and gained some fat in that time.

Chillis seem to be coming on well. Even the Zimbabwe Black has flowered, despite being attacked by slugs early in the season. I'm happy with getting some fruit so i can save the seed for next year 👍🏻

Been a productive morning.
Pottered in the greenhouse pruning suckers of the tomato plants and giving everything a good watering.
Tidied the shed which was getting out of hand.. and sent some orders off.

Apariy update and The girls have been busy drawing out some comb..
I've put a supper on to give them some room to expand and move some stores up from the brood chamber. This will give the queen space to lay more consistently.
Once I've got through this winter, I'll split in spring to create two more colonies.

Broke up and seperated a large clump of oregano this morning.
Potted up the various parts to grow on.
Once established they will go up for sale.
Last years little experiment in staring a micro nursery was enough of a success to encourage me to expand this year.
I'm also planning on building a website with the option to pay in #bitcoin linked to my @BTCPay Server running on my @Start9 server..
Which is pretty cool 😎
