Yes, because that's what Nostr and Bitcoin are about: just everybody using the same proprietary closed-source app.

Are you against HTML too? Or every programming language?

Wikitext has no compatibility benefits because it cannot be implemented. Markdown has 20 incompatibility infinite unsolvable bugs for every compatibility benefit.

And then name it RRSSS to make it very clear how simple it is?

I'll do my part by breaking his URLs in my software if I remember that.

You just proved me right in your last paragraph. It works because the standard is not really a standard. The actual standard is simpler than what is described in the RFC, and it should be even simpler. No one really needs braces in URLs, so let's just stop using them.

Wait, no, I didn't change my mind.

I'm actually sorry you hate Asciidoc but for some reason you love Markdown. Wikitext would be great if it was a standard and not just a de facto arbitrary PHP software, but I don't think we should have used that. Asciidoc is the least bad of these three.

Perhaps there is a way to make RSS a little more decentralized, specially if we're referencing episodes inside Nostr notes?

Every time someone shares a podcast it's a link to either YouTube, Fountain or Spotify.

For whatever reason I don't see anyone sharing RSS URLs.
