Camus can one-shot impressionable twenty something’s into nihilism. Perhaps best to put the existentialism on hold until after creating a family.

“Every soul will taste death…”

Holy Quran
Chapter 3: “The Family of Imran”
Verse 185

Imran is Mary’s Father, Jesus’ Grandfather. Although not mentioned in the Holy Bible, the Christian Tradition typically refers to him as Joachim.

a deeper look perhaps?
🕳️

The letter J did not exist in Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, or Arabic during Jesus’ time. The sound we associate with “J” today evolved much later in European languages. Here’s how this applies to names like Jesus, Joachim, and John:

1. Jesus’ Original Name
• In Hebrew/Aramaic: Yeshua (יֵשׁוּעַ)
• In Greek: Iēsous (Ἰησοῦς)
• In Latin: Iesus
• Modern English: Jesus (The “J” sound developed in English around the 16th century)

2. Joachim’s Name (Mary’s Father in Christian Tradition)
• In Hebrew: Likely Yehoyaqim (יְהוֹיָקִים)
• In Greek: Ioakeim (Ἰωακείμ)
• In Latin: Joachim
• Modern English: Joachim (with the “J” sound added later)

3. John the Baptist’s Name
• In Hebrew: Yochanan (יוֹחָנָן)
• In Greek: Ioannes (Ἰωάννης)
• In Latin: Iohannes
• Modern English: John

In Band of Brothers, Captain Ronald Speirs took over command of Easy Company from First Lieutenant Norman Dike during the assault on Foy in Episode 7, "The Breaking Point." Dike hesitated and failed to lead effectively under fire, prompting then-Battalion XO Captain Winters to send Speirs to take over. Speirs immediately took decisive action, leading a bold charge through enemy lines, which helped turn the tide of the battle.

Awesome thought, connecting freedom to death in this way:

"It is appointed for man to die once, and then the judgement....."

"He who the Son sets free is free indeed..."

For believers, death is the beginning for an eternity with Christ…….

For non-believers, it is a dark day of judgement…….

Pride prevents many from humbling themselves before the Cross…….

Ultimately, all are humbled and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord……..

We #Bitcoiner say “stay humble and stack sats”.

Humbling ourselves before the Cross, is much more important……..

Think Pompeii, and people clutching their valuables at the time of their death…….

What a sad sight……….

We don’t take anything with us………
