They charge a yearly fee of $1000 just maintain an account, so the target audience presumably isn't us plebs. Then again who knows. There's usually a gap between what reasons companies say their customers need loans from them and what the actual reasons are.

Point taken, I get if your in a region where your potential tax bill would leave you worse off versus the interest payments and service costs, and you still have regular income to service your loan it can be attractive, but I'd much prefer something with a multi-sig just to feel a bit safer! Maybe I'm coping but yeah this deal is pretty niche, especially when you look at the rates you can borrow against if you do it against your ETF
