You can turn off "always-on".

I do like it most of the time, especially when the phone sits on the other side of the room and occasionally walk by to see if there's any notifications (silent mode).

But there are situations where's either distracting or outright bad privacy (people sitting next to you can see what podcast you're listening too).

I have the 15 so it doesn't have the middle button. For taking pictures I'd love to have a very light touch sensitive button so I don't have to press or touch the screen (both move the camera and potentially add blur). But it seems to me that the iPhone 16 camera button is far to the middle, so you'd still have to move your hand.

Come to think of it, maybe the shutter could be triggered by me blinking, as seen by the inside camera?
