Yes, a Raspberry Pi v4 with 4GB RAM, 2TB storage, running full node via Umbrel OS. Experimented with Lightning Channels but gave up after too much nonsense associated with it.

Running my node for 18 months okay with occasional updates. Linked my Sparrow wallet to my node for validation of BTC transactions.

My node supports me and other Bitcoin network users in validating BTC transactions.

Worth doing for everybody's sake. You're essentially ensuring the correct version of the Bitcoin software is used to validate your transactions and other peoples.

IIUC, the liquidity disappears at that point because it's no longer L2, so about a millisecond. It's supposed to be locked.

The liquidity doesn't disappear if you swap it, it just moves from local/outbound to remote/inbound.

Like, you open a 1m sats channel and have 1m sats to spend and 0 sats to receive,
you swap those 1m sats to pay off your loan and then have 1m sats to receive and 0 to spend.

Doable, but just buying a channel with inbound liquidity might probably be cheaper than tx-fees + ln-fees + swap-fees + loan-fees.
