I hear ya. The issue is structural though so while it may not be considered a feature neither is it a bug.
Makes me wonder about a personal publishing client that holds the notes that you write, but instead of sending the note across the nostr network, it sends only a URL to the note that you wrote in your client.
That way when you go back and edit the note in your client the URL stays the same so that the next time a user looks at the note that is rendering the URL, it is corrected as per your edits. I have no idea if this is possible, but it would be interesting.
Think of it like writing a medium post; if I go back to that post and I edit the medium article that I wrote, it doesn’t affect the URL. So anybody that looks at that URL sees the edits and not what came before. Does that make sense?
