We also still have legal issues with the 2020 elections. Doing it that way would probably involve a two fold Supreme Court ruling that would also deem everything in the Biden administration revoked.

Its pretty obvious. The organized crime, media, CIA, FBI and public sector unions (e.g. postal union) (but I repeat myself five times) colluded to fake the election. The problem is every single congressman and senator is culpable and complicit, they make sure of that to make sure they don't expose the system. Cryptographically secure and publically auditable elections are an existing technology, the only reason we don't have it is to maintain the illusion of a government "of, by and for the people."

Updated whitepaper ---

Voter-Generated Ephemeral Keys (the voter, not the authority, generates the key).

Blind Signatures from the Election Authority (EA) to authorize that ephemeral key.

Homomorphic or Mix-Net Encryption to protect ballot secrecy.

OpenTimestamps-style proofs to give each ballot (and any re-cast ballot) a tamper-proof, verifiable time anchor.

Re-Voting until the cutoff, allowing a voter to replace a previously cast ballot.

This design emphasizes privacy, integrity, verifiability, and resilience in a decentralized setting using Nostr.

A Nostr-Based E-Voting System with Blinded Ephemeral Keys, OpenTimestamps, and Re-Voting

1. Introduction

Modern election systems must balance privacy (no one sees how individuals vote) with public verifiability (everyone can confirm the correctness of the tally). Achieving this in a decentralized, tamper-resistant manner remains a challenge. Nostr (a lightweight protocol for censorship-resistant communication) offers a promising platform for distributing and archiving election data (ballots) without relying on a single central server.

This paper presents a design where:

1. Each voter generates a new ephemeral Nostr keypair for an election.

2. The election authority (EA) blind-signs this ephemeral public key (npub) to prove the voter is authorized, without revealing which voter owns which ephemeral key.

3. Voters cast encrypted ballots to Nostr relays, each carrying an OpenTimestamps proof to confirm the ballot’s time anchor.

If we just tarred & feathered corrupt politicians more often this wouldn’t happen in the first place

I think we are holding out a lot of evidence. I was hoping the Dems would push the issue and bring it to the courts.
