Exactly, they always have the excuse of 'doesn't everything track me and invade my privacy' so who cares they say. Ignorance of international politics. It is absolutely insane that social media companies track what they do, but to think that there isn't major problems with giving that kind of information to state sponsored companies outside the US is very problematic. I have been saying for years, what this may lead to.. a fracture of the internet as we know it, potentially even US ISP blocking/not routing with entire countries

Most people have learned helplessness about being tracked. It doesn't even occur to them to try to stop the tracking anymore.

It is crazy how much nicer #GrapheneOS is than stock android. Terrifying to realize all that extra speed and battery life was there all along and being wasted on spying on you.
