This statement is kind of wrong. The money you earn on top of the inflation is just because you didn't park your money in fiat, the real investement gain is the inflation adjusted one, if your investement didn't beat inflation in the firsf place, you would have better invested your money elsewhere.
From now on we should compare investment to Bitcoin. If you get more sats your investement had positive gain, if not, you lost money, better have kept your sats.
