More and more I am noticing the tension of opposites across almost the whole spectrum. It’s like building towards a zeitgeist where before a hegelian synthesis can occur, the thesis and antithesis need to reach their maximum absurdity to pronounce their own death to end the interregnum before a new truth is produced.

Hi erik 🤟😉🏴‍☠️ Exactly, we’re living through the tension before the synthesis each side is pushing itself to the extreme, desperately trying to prove its validity. But in that extremity lies the contradiction that will eventually collapse both the thesis and the antithesis. It’s the chaos that births the new truth. History is showing us once again that the most absurd extremes often precede the most profound shifts. We’re witnessing the breakdown before the breakthrough, and it’s both terrifying and exhilarating to be part of this moment.

I wonder why the ideas of men are so important. We use their names. We use their concepts. We use their lady equivalent names and concepts. It's as if we did not have parents to bring us into this world and we just showed up magically accepting the ideas of other men or mankind that are so remote to our rearing, weening and growth. Eventually we found the television or some alternative to the television to tell us what to think, rejecting the family Bible, rejecting the neighborhood faith and becoming cosmopolitan dolts instead of adults.

I used to think that the layers of sophistry were so important as I was using language to describe things differently from my parents. I later learned that the language of my parents was derivative from Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek and Latin and then the philology was Phoenician, Khemitic, and Runic.

There is no new truth.

Perhaps the next consensus is what will come from the phenomenon you’re describing, but that has very little to do with truth.

Humans are absurd at the core. We make up all manner of bs to sidestep reality when it’s uncomfortable, painful, or inconvenient. We’re obsessed with the facade of control.

While the universe shrugs, the human race will continue to invent elaborate distractions and delusions. The synthesis you’re anticipating will no doubt , accelerate the beeline to maximum absurdity.

Buckle up!

rewatched Princess Mononoke over the weekend with my kid and felt like it was analogous to this time in a way, sort of a white-pill of the apocalypse
