When they target kids you know it's sick stuff. There's this confusion about who Lucifer is. Once you make God the bad guy in the story, you get to twist L's role. The confusion is fueled by not understanding what Christ as the middle way makes out of the two extremes: Materialism and Spirituality. L is spiritually for the sake of bypassing the human condition at the present time. It's the temptations that you can transcend before you are ready and have learned your lesson given to you in the here and now. As you're walking the middle way you get to be tempted by both extremes: material possessions on one side and fake light on the other.

We can go round and round with terms of enlightenment, gnostic thought and Lucifer.
Luke and Lucifer both have the Lux root for light. The middle path is itself a deceptive vehicle. All rituals, rights, icons and devices are not the truth. No symbols are the truth! No incantations or combinations are the truth. These are just tools but the message from Christ is very clear. We have only faith in God, the supreme who cannot be fully described.
Here is were we start shamelessly screwing the dog when we pontificate about what is in the scripture instead of encouraging reading the scripture. The epiphany or high from the joy of uncovering is a trap, too. Let it come and go. Work still must be done.
