Do you pay the creator and the platform directly for all the videos that you blocked the ads from? You are using somebody else's property in a way they didn't agree with. So, you better offer some compensation via other means.
If you want to watch it without ads, pay the provider of those services and/or the creator directly. That's why we are here.
It doesn't matter how little the creator gets from you on an ad-based system. If everyone blocks ads, neither the platform, not the creator would exist. So the ad is essential to the terms and conditions of the material you are consuming.

This has the same energy as those anti-piracy ads back in the day or the big Napster controversy. You're displaying your work in a public town square but you're mad that passers by are looking at it without paying you. Defending that kind of behaviour is asking for violence since that's the only way to enforce this. Its not stealing to use an adblocker. Find a better monetisation model.

YouTube is not a "public town square". It's the complete opposite of that.

It is Google's square, but they are letting people wander through without asking for 🆔 or up front payment.
So, again... Not the same as stealing. They can ask me to leave unless I identify myself. They could ask me to agree to view ads or they won't stream videos. They do not. So, I will not be viewing ads as long as possible until they simply close the gates.
Until I can support creators directly without KYC or anything else getting in the way like I can and do via the Nostr protocol and (currently) lightning (and I hope lightning dies an inglorious death in the wake of something more sensible), then I'm just gonna see what I can see until I can't see it no more.
I asked about this nearly immediately after I started using nostr once I found amethyst on
