For about six years, I’ve had kind of a hobby of watching and analyzing strategies and how predators survive. They’re the smallest group on Earth, even if we include all humans.
I remember the first time I looked up how much big cats like pumas or panthers (which weigh around 100–120 kg, like me) eat on average per day or week. I found out they typically eat around 3–5 kg of meat per day, sometimes more, sometimes less, it was shocked knowing they can eat 15% of they body in a single day (about 10-20kg)
At the time, I was surprised. It seemed unbearable and impossible for a human like me.
Now, I eat an average of 1.5–2kg of meat a day, and sometimes I catch myself thinking that even 2.5–3kg doesn’t seem like that much anymore, I also found there are people that could eat 5-15kg of meat a day, sensational
