What is the best solution for an international business that wants to accept Bitcoin for payments, and will need to convert some of the received bitcoin into fiat automatically to cover expenses? Strike? zaprite? BtcpayServer? something else? #AskNostr

"There are no solutions, only trade offs."

Strike is the easiest, BTCpayServer is the most capable, secure and private, zaprite is a good compromise between the two. If you already run your own node, BTCPayServer is not a huge stretch and will allow alot of customization in the future.

Strike makes tax accounting very easy.

BTCpayserver can do this. There are special plugins for this situation. Similarly, the combination of BTCpayserver + Strike is also possible.

Based in which country? I recon zaprite is the best bet.

Been thinking about this a lot. We need a lemonsqueezy.com of bitcoin - someone who can accept payments on behalf of anyone, sort out the tax and pay out in btc..

I’m wanting to achieve this myself but on a smaller scale to start, think Strike and or BTC Pay may be best suited for this but there are obviously others to consider. Not definitive I know!

Depends on the scale. Do they need to be able to take lightning payments or are the transfers at a scale where it can be done on chain? I would personally start with zaprite for this sort of thing since they seem to be most focused on solving this problem.

Strike's new billpay? If not, one of those 3 is still likely the top contender..
