NanoKVM firmware is finally open source🚀

Very powerful little device for ~$30. I need to try some out now!

So cheap... Does it really work properly?

@Chris Fisher is this the one you were talking about in one selfhosted?

It is

I have yet to try one personally, but from reviews I've seen, it works pretty well

This is for if you have two completely separate workstations on the same network, and you'd like to control one, from the other, in its entirety

No need to have two keyboards, two mouses (mice?), two monitors, etc.
& no need to ssh into one and interact with it from terminal

Definitely a niche device for people who need that

Tradituonal KVM's cost hundreds of dollars, that's why this one was so compelling when it was launched
- but, firmware wasn't open sourced when launched, so it was a bit sketchy for something this powerful of a device i.e. take control of your entire computer
